Dr. Emily King is a Child Psychologist and former School Psychologist. She received a Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she worked at Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute and the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities. She began her career as a School Psychologist specializing in school-based mental health in K-12 public schools. Since 2010, Dr. Emily has worked in private practice supporting the mental health needs of neurodivergent youth, their families, and teachers. Her new book, THE NEURODIVERGENT LEARNER, will be available for presale in 2026.
